I took a bit of a circuitous route to software development, via a mathematics degree, a first career as a aerospace control engineer, and a brief stint as both student and mentor in a bootcamp.

Since then I've spent most of my time as a full-stack developer, leading small teams on a contract basis, before joining Silico in the spring of 2020.

Outside of work, I enjoy climbing and long distance hiking.
